Learn about poverty through our Poverty Simulation!

The poverty simulation is an interactive activity designed to aid participants in understanding the daily life of a typical low-income family through engaging in an actual community model simulation. The object is to sensitize participants to the realities faced by low-income people through their involvement in the simulation. The exercise, which takes approximately two hours, includes an introduction/briefing segment, the actual simulation exercise and a debriefing period for participants to discuss their experience. Click here for more information.
